click for more The #3 quality of leadership - Charisma
Leadership is not a function of personality, presence or popularity, but rather the result of four personal dynamics that are required of every leader, regardless of their leadership role. What are they? How do you get them?

Daily CareerTIP® Advice
Monday - Leadership charisma - a gift for you?
Yes, you can receive the gift of leadership charisma by God's vision, wisdom and strength - put into action by your courage. Discern and obey God's way. You will not only become a person others follow, but you will be leading them to a place that's worth the trip.

Tuesday - Personal leadership dynamic #1 - Vision
Vision - a picture of a desired future so that other people will follow you there. You not only have to see it and say it, but also set the right example as well as enable and encourage others to act. Without your receiving and revealing God's vision, "the people perish."

Wednesday - Personal leadership dynamic #2 - Wisdom
If vision is the future destination, then wisdom is the map, the directions and the right decisions on how to get there. Where can you get wisdom? "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without any doubting for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." (James 1:5-6, New American Standard Bible)

Thursday - Personal leadership dynamic #3 - Strength
There are times that it seems like leadership requires super-human strength - physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. Well, it does. It's the super-natural strength from the God Who is all-powerful. When the going gets tough, the tough get going - in the strength of the Lord.

Friday - Personal leadership dynamic #4 - Courage
You can have the vision, wisdom and strength to lead, and nobody follows. Why? Because you are afraid to step up. Be willing to earn the red badges of courage that come from the wounds suffered while leading. You can not lead from behind. Take courage and step up. If God is with you, no one can stand against you.

Saturday - Women in leadership?
Absolutely positively beyond a shadow of a doubt - yes! Women not only lead effectively, but they are as called to leadership as much as men. Not just in the home, community and church, but also in the workplace. For a portrait of a woman in leadership, read through Proverbs 31:10-31

Sunday - Are you going somewhere worthwhile?
If you are not going somewhere worthwhile, then why ask people to follow you? The only way to make sure you are going somewhere worthwhile is to be sure you are following that Someone Who knows where worthwhile is. "Follow Me," Jesus said, "And I will make you fishers of men." Ask Him today which way to go. And follow Him.
