Daily CareerTIP® Advice
Monday - Getting a job is a job
Set up a daily career transition work schedule with start-quit times like 8-5. Before work - invest a half hour with God (in prayer with Bible) and a half hour in the Gym (cardio, stretching, weights). During lunch – eat healthy and meet people like family, friends, past fellow workers, future potential employers. After work - get time for relaxation, recreation and planning for the next day.

Tuesday - Unemployed and angry?
If you were laid-off, fired or had to quit, you may have negative feelings and not even know it. Arrest every thought. Frisk it for negativity. If you find bad feelings, then exercise good thinking. Begin by forgiving everyone involved on a continuing basis, including yourself. Forgiveness is for your benefit – let go of the past and walk positively into the future.

How to walk through a crossroads in your career
Saturday - Go to church and find a job
Forty-eight percent of job seekers go to churches to network for jobs. You can even find ministries that help job seekers. Some are networking groups. Others are support groups. Continue with the ones you like the most. Volunteer at the one you like the best. Helping others while you are being helped builds synergy and energy for you and your job search.

Sunday - The bridge over troubled waters...
...is Jesus. “An average view of the Christian life is that it means deliverance from trouble. It is deliverance IN trouble, which is very different. ‘In the world, ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world - John 16:33.’ God does not give us overcoming life. He gives us life as we overcome.” From Oswald Chambers in “My Utmost for His Highest”
