Daily CareerTIP® Advice
Monday - Top New Year’s Resolutions
According to US News Magazine, personal financial goals beat out health and fitness as the top new year resolution. What is most important to you? Why? Make a list now.

Tuesday - Be it resolved - a Happy New Year
No matter what did or didn’t happen last year, you can make this year new and happy. Start by making your list – what do you want to be different and better this year – maybe even completely brand new?

Wednesday - Nothing is impossible …
…because everything is Him-possible. Take your list of mission impossible resolutions to God in prayer. Ask for confirmation or rejection on each and every one. Commit your ways to the Lord, and He will do it. And remember, “All things are possible in Him Who strengthens us.”

Thursday - Resolutions with goals and timetables
"But once you know what you want, you have to spend time planning. The problem is people tend to spend more time planning a vacation, a wedding, or a party than on planning their lives or their careers," said Martha Fields, founder of a work-balance and management consulting firm in the Boston Globe newspaper.

Friday - 4 keys to a happy new year
From myGoals.com, “New Year's resolutions are notoriously short-lived, if not completely forgotten by February. The trick to making resolutions work is to follow the same steps required to make any goal work, as follows: 1. Choose the Right Resolution. 2. Create a Plan. 3. Stay on Track. 4. Remain Flexible and Keep on Going”

Saturday - Need help keeping your resolutions?
Make yourself accountable to someone else. "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another..."

Sunday - The ultimate New Year Resolution is...
... the declaration of dependence on Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, Who died and rose again in payment for and power over your sins. The milli-second that you make that resolution, you are not just a better you at work, home and everywhere you roam. You are a new you! "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)
